1) How do I designate BusinAssist as my registered agent?
You will designate BusinAssist as your registered agent once you purchase our services to get consent to use our address. Once subscribed to our registered agent services, you will use our office address in Newark in your LLC formation documents when filing with Delaware Divisions Corporation. The full address will be emailed to you after you sign up for our service.
2) What documents should I provide for LLC incorporation and/or Delaware Registered Agent / Virtual address service?
You should provide your company name, physical address, and contact information. You will also need to provide your ID for identity verification. See here for the documentation that you require. Documents submitted in a foreign language will incur a 1-time translation fee of $12.00.
3) Is the Mail Handling Service for business and personal use?
Yes, the mail-handling service is for both business and personal use. If you are using our virtual address for personal use, you will need one subscription for one person. If you need the address for two people, you will need to subscribe to another package. We will only handle mail for 1x person subscribed to our package.
If you are using the virtual address for your LLC, you need 1 x subscription for each company. Directors can also receive their mail at the address at no additional fee.
4) Do I need to inform the State Government of Delaware before changing the Registered agent?
We will inform the State Government of Delaware on your behalf that we are acting as your new registered agent. At no cost, we will complete and file all appropriate paperwork with them.
5) How will I access mail received at your address?
All letters will be scanned and emailed to you by default. If the item received cannot be scanned, or you want the original post after scanning, it will be forwarded to you to any designated address. If the mail is less than 100 grams, we will post it for free using a standard postal service with no tracking.
If you would like the postal service to be tracked, you will either book your courier to collect the item from our office, or you can provide us with a postage label, and your item will be dropped off at the nearest dispatch depot. For the courier handover service, you will incur $5.50 per consignment.
6) How will I receive my Delaware LLC incorporation documents?
Once your LLC is approved, we will email your incorporation documents as PDFs.
7) How will the call answering service be activated to start using?
Once you pay for our Business Standard package that comes with free 24/7 call answering services, it is your responsibility to notify us to activate the service. Once you notify us, we will set it up at no cost.
8) Can I receive letters and parcels at my Delaware registered office address?
Yes, you can receive both. However, parcels should be no larger than the size of a shoebox.
9) What happens if I reach my monthly allowance for mail handling?
If you reach your monthly allowance, we will continue to scan your letters to you. However, if you reach your monthly allowance regularly your mail-handling service will be suspended until the end of the calendar month. You can either upgrade to a new package with a larger mail allowance or wait for the allowance to reset the new calendar month.
10) What happens when my Registered Agent service expires?
Your card that you used to pay for the subscription will be charged automatically for a 12-month subscription based on the renewal price. To cancel the subscription, check

The business phone number allocated to you can be used via our mobile app. You will receive 250 minutes of outbound calls to all numbers in the USA and approximately 50 destinations worldwide.
12) What is the refund and cancellation policy?
a) To obtain a full refund, you have to cancel within 14 days of initial subscription/purchasing our service on the condition that:
- i) Our services have been used within the initial 14-day period.
- ii) Our registered address service is not being used from the point you are serving us with your cancellation notice.
b) After 14 days, your subscription can only be canceled on your annual renewal date of registered address / registered agent subscription on the condition that:
- none of our services are being used on the date that cancellation is being requested. If we are listed as your Registered Agent with the State Government of Delaware, the appropriate paperwork will need to be filed with them to remove us as your agent.
- ii) we are served with a minimum of 7 calendar days’ notice before your subscription renewal date.
