1) Which ID Documents do I need to provide you with in order to form my UK Ltd company?
Click here to see which ID documents we require. If you are an agent / reseller / friend / relative setting up a company on behalf of a third party we will need your ID documents too.
2) My ID documents are not in English. Can I still use your services?
Yes you can. We have a number of bilingual interpretors working for our company who are able to translate documents in a number of languages. We also use a number or different softwares to interpret documents. In most cases documents can be translated for free. In some instances where we are not able to interpret documents a third party translator has to be hired for a one off fee of £12.00 including VAT. If this is the case we will inform you and send you a link to make payment for the interpretor. We are not able to accept documents which you have translated yourself as we need to be sure that that translation provided to us is correct.
3) How long does it take to incorporate a company?
From the point that your application is submitted to Companies House it takes approximately 1 working day for Companies House to incorporate your company. Please note that weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and public holidays are not considered by Companies House as working days and they are closed on these days.
4) Which details are visible for the public to see in Google and other public websites when I form my company?
If you use our "Formation only - use your own address package" then the public will be able to see the names and addresses of the Directors and beneficial owners of the company.
If you use our Formation with Address Package, then our address will be shown as the correspondence address for your company, the Director(s) and benefical owner(s). Their residential addresses will be kept 100% private.
5) What makes up my Company Formation Documents and how will I receive them?
Once your company is incorporated by Companies House you will receive the following documents:
- Your company's Certificate of Incorporation (via email from us within a few hours of incorporation).
- Memorandum of Association (via email from us within a few hours of incorporation).
- Articles of Association (via email from us within a few hours of incorporation).
- Statement of Capital (via email from us within a few hours of incorporation).
- Statement of Initial Shareholders (via email from us within a few hours of incorporation).
- UTR (Unique Tax Reference) sent to the Company's Registered Addresss by HMRC approximately 28 days after the company is formed.
- Corporation Tax Activation Code sent to the Company's Registered Address by HMRC approximately 28 days after the company is formed.
- Webfiling code sent by Companies House to the Company's Registered Address by Companies House approximately 14 days after the company is formed.
